Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Selah mobile application or website ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Use of the service

You must be at least 13 years old to use Selah. You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You may not:

• Attempt to reverse engineer or decompile any part of the Service
• Use the Service to harm, threaten, or harass others
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its backend systems
• Share your account credentials with others
• Use automated tools to scrape, copy, or mirror the Service

3. Subscriptions and payments

Individual subscriptions are managed through the Apple App Store. By subscribing, you agree to Apple's terms of service. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the billing period. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period — no partial refunds are issued.

Organisation subscriptions are invoiced monthly by Selah directly. Payment terms are Net 30. Organisations may cancel with 30 days' written notice.

4. Intellectual property

All content in Selah — including articles, breathing techniques, course materials, audio, and design — is the intellectual property of Selah or its licensors. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.

5. Health disclaimer

Selah is a wellness and breathwork application and is not a medical device. The content is for informational and educational purposes only. Nothing in Selah constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. If you have a medical condition — including but not limited to cardiovascular disease, epilepsy, pregnancy, or respiratory conditions — consult a qualified healthcare professional before using breathwork techniques. Discontinue use and seek medical attention if you experience dizziness, lightheadedness, or other concerning symptoms.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Selah shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

7. Organisation terms

Organisations using Selah for Organisations agree to: (a) inform employees about the data collected and its use; (b) obtain appropriate consent for psychology profile sharing; (c) use admin data access responsibly and not for surveillance or discriminatory purposes; (d) maintain the confidentiality of organisation codes and admin credentials.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from the Settings screen. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

10. Changes to terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
